Dear Students,
Due to the simplify organisation proces, the enrolment for the internship will take place through the representants of the year.
All students enrolling for internships organized by the University are required to familiarize themselves with the information and important guidelines provided by the hospitals, posted on the internship website of the Faculty of Medicine – English Division.
The enrolment by the representants of the year will take place between 01.06.2022-03.06.2022. After this date, only the Dean's Office: e-mail: katarzyna.kolodziejczyk-prazmo@umw.edu.pl
The main condition to enroll for the internship is valid medical examination by a doctor of occupational medicine, sanitary-epidemiological examination and NNW insurance. Before starting the vocational internship, students download the appropriate program of vocational internship from the ED website. Please print the programs on both sides (1 sheet).
Vocational Internship for students of the Medical University of Wroclaw is organized by the University in accordance with the Regulation No. 28/XV R/2020 of the Rector of the Medical University of Wroclaw of 29 January 2020, as amended, during the summer holiday in Poland, in health care units with which the University has signed contracts or agreements.
The University does not sign other agreements.
As part of the agreement, the University provides students with civil liability insurance (OC), while students must purchase accident insurance individually (NNW).
Those who have completed the required internships may submit completed legibly and signed internship programs for the academic year 2021/2022 till October 7th 2022.
The basis for the credit for the internship is a certificate of completion including: date and place of the internship, stamp of the unit where the internship took place, stamp and signature of the person completing the internship.
We kindly inform that the internship programs can be taken by students who have valid medical examination and current sanitary-epidemiological book. In case of doubts concerning the validity date of the above mentioned examinations, it is possible to check with the person responsible for the given year in the office hours of the Dean's Office or to obtain
a referral for the examinations via e-mail.

1st year - practical training in patient care
2nd year - general treatment GP
2nd year - emergency medical aid
3rd year - internal diseases
4th year - intensive care unit
4th year - general surgery
5th year - paediatrics
5th year - gynaecology with obstetrics
