Be responsible and get vaccinated
Starting 4th of May 2021, all students from Wroclaw universities, regardless of citizenship, will be able to register for vaccination against Covid-19 as part of the National Vaccination Program. Rectors of Wroclaw universities recommend: take advantage of this opportunity, because vaccinations are crucial to return to full-time classes.
There are about 80 thousand students in Wroclaw. Most of them, as a result of the pandemic, have spent the last year outside the walls of the university, on remote e-learning. The launching of the National Vaccination Program for younger students gives them a chance to return to academic routine.
On the 4th of May, registration for vaccinations will be available for those between the ages of 18 and 29 who have applied to be vaccinated in the first quarter of 2021 through patient.gov.pl. On the following days, registration will open for individual year groups, starting with the 1990-1991 year group on May 5th, until May 9th, when those born in 2002-2003 will be able to register for the vaccination.
VACCINATIONS AGAINST COVID-19 FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
How do you get vaccinated against COVID-19 if you don't have a PESEL number?
In order to get the e-referral you should contact the primary care physician (GP)
Your primary care physician (GP) will issue for you an e-referral for vaccination through the gabinet.gov.pl application. When issuing the referral, in the "patient data" field, he/she should select "other identifier" (instead of "PESEL number") and enter the number of the identity document you are using. Ideally, this should be a PASSPORT number or a foreign ID card.
Don't forget to bring to the vaccination the same ID you gave the doctor earlier. It is important to use the same identity document at every stage of the vaccination process (from the appointment with the doctor through registration to vaccination).
You can apply for the e-referral for the vaccination no earlier than on the date indicated in the schedule of vaccinations for particular age groups:
30th of April– people born in 1982-1983,
1st of May – people born in 1984-1985,
3rd of May – people born in 1986-1987,
