The appeal of Vice Rector for Students

Dear Students, President of the Departmental Student Council,

Today is the next day of the new reality of further restrictions in pandemic conditions. I am well aware that this is a difficult time for students and academic teachers. We have to make every effort to get through this time with as little problems and losses as possible, for health and didactics, although it is very difficult. Together with your Deans and Vice-Deans, we do our best to ensure that all the educational results required for the validity of your diplomas can be safely achieved. We discussed volunteer work, which is important to support our clinics and other therapeutic entities in the current situation. We took into consideration the possibilities of the so-called "organized" volunteer work. The procedure for applying for volunteer work is in preparation so that you can get as many practical learning outcomes as possible, which we encourage you to do. In addition, we are developing information for the lecturers about the justified absence of volunteers from classes online, with the obligation to pass all required content, of course. The deans and deans of the faculties will help you to determine which learning outcomes can be counted towards practical skills. The Vice-Dean for Medical Analytics of the Faculty of Pharmacy, dr. hab. Iwona Bil-Lula will coordinate the volunteer work at our University.

I hope that this difficult time will bring us new and valuable experiences and, despite the difficulties, will strengthen us. We must go through this difficult time together. I count on your help and cooperation, with me, with the Deans and guardians of each year.

Kind regards,
Professor Agnieszka Piwowar
Vice-Rector for Students and Didactics
