Hello everyone,

On behalf of the Paediatric Research Circle for ED students, I am pleased to inform you that our group has been doing exceptionally well over the past several years. I would like to announce a few of our successes.
At the 14th Bialystok International Medical Congress, Marek Sadowski, Paula Choszczewski and Michelle Prodan won 1st place. Kateryna Moroz, Katie Musial, Angela Berska and Daniel Schaefer won 2nd place at the 25th International Student Scientific Conference in Gdansk. Patrycja Iwanczyk and Karolina Klee presented a very interesting case at the 15th Warsaw International Medical Congress but the competition was exceedingly high. The girls have won 3rd place in 2018 at the 13th Bialystok International Medical Congress. All of the case reports were created under the supervision of Daiva Gorczyca, MD, PhD and tutor of the Paediatric Research Circle.
I would also like to mention that Nicole Hunter, Vice-President of the group, has been accepted to Heidelberg University in Germany, a well-known Research Institute, where she will be pursuing her postgraduate studies in the Translational Medical Research Program. Congratulations!
