Statement of the Rector of the Wroclaw Medical University

I feel obliged to provide you with information that during the investigation that has been conducted by the prosecutor's office in Katowice for several years, I was requested to be heard regarding the Data Techno Park case. I have been charged with acting against University`s interests. The prosecutor who is conducting the case has suspended me in the role of the Rector into what I have lodged a complaint .

At the same time, I declare that every decision regarding the Data Techno Park matter I took on the basis of the economic valuations and legal opinions which were presented to me at that time. Each time I was concerned only with the good of the Medical University of Wroclaw.

I hope that the evidence which has been analyzed many times will be examined essentially by court and the verdict or remission will eventually end the proceedings and the speculations on this matter.
