STUDENT VOCATIONAL INTERNSHIP IN WROCŁAW 2019/2020 - INFORMATION

Dear Students,

Due to the epidemiological situation, the enrolment for the internship will take place through the representants of the year. Persons who do not manage to enroll or do their own internships during holidays, according to the order of the Rector 118/XV R/2020, may do internships until the end of the summer semester 2020/2021, at the latest by 30 June 2021.

Students who will be doing the internship in: USK and Dolnośląski Szpital Specjalistyczny im. Marciniak in Wrocław must have an RT-PCR test for SARS COV-2 performed before starting the internship. These tests will take place in Uniwersytecki Szpital Kliniczny. Students who will be on the list (extablished by representants of the year) will be examinated in hospital. The dates and procedure will be published by the Rector as soon possible.

Only persons with negative results will be allowed to take part in internships.

Students who are doing their internship outside of the above mentioned institutions also can be examined in the USK, after they have registered on the list or reported this fact to the Dean's Office.

According to the announcement of NFZ (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia):

SARS COV-2 tests, free of charge, can also be performed by the facilities where you will have internships.

Registration by representants and enrollment for tests will take place until the end of the week, i.e. 26.06.2020. After that date, only by the Dean's Office by e-mail or telephone.

The condition to participate in the internship is also an important examination by an occupational doctor and a sanitary and epidemiological examination. Before starting the internship, students download the appropriate internship program from the website. Please print the programs on both sides (1 page).

All details of internships in individual hospitals will be given soon.

The spots on 2nd year internship - general treatment (GP) - are aviailable only for people, who can speak in polish.

Due to numerous questions, I kindly inform you that, according to the knowledge gained, we direct students to smears from which institutions they go on internship to which they require certificates of COVID-19 results, and students cannot do such tests on their own. We do not direct all students to smears. We also do not reimburse students for smears taken privately.

Kind regards,

ED staff
