Reporting of covid-19 cases by WMU students

UMW students are reminded to report incidents of Sars-Cov-2 infection or contact with an infected person!
The procedure for dealing with Sars-Cov-2 infection and suspicion of SARS-CoV-2 infection for students and employees of Wroclaw Medical University is being extended for the winter semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. (link)
We continue to encourage all students and employees to get vaccinated.

REMEMBER! BY GETTING VACCINATED YOU ARE PROTECTING YOURSELF AND OTHERS.

Persons, who recovered from COVID (persons with a history of infection, confirmed by PCR or antigen test) are not subject to quarantine after contact with an infected person (if the contact occurs within 6 months from infection).
Individuals who have received the full Covid-19 vaccination are not subject to post-contact quarantine (as long as contact occurs AFTER A MINIMUM OF 7 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE SECOND DOSE). These individuals are subject to self-monitoring and mandatory reporting of contact using the forms in the links below. The content of the reporting forms is adapted to the new situation.
In order to facilitate and streamline the reporting of cases, special forms have been prepared that must be completed depending on the type of contact. Applications must be sent via following forms: LINK

Students are also reminded of the obligation to wear masks on the University property and in other units providing clinical classes for UMW. This applies to all UMW students, PhD students, and employees.
