Recomendation of the WMU Crisis Management Team and recommendations for students and employees of the Wrocław Medical University concerning the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the summer semester 2021/2022.

Recommendations of the WMU Crisis Management Team

The Regulation of the Council of Ministers of March 25, 2022 removes the obligation to cover the mouth and nose with a mask in rooms, except those where medical activities are carried out, but the WMU Crisis Management Team still recommends the use of masks in all University buildings.

The Regulation of the Council of Ministers of March 25, 2022, item 679 on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the outbreak of an epidemic, eliminated the obligation to use masks, the obligation of quarantine and isolation in connection with Covid-19.  Until April 30, 2022, the order to cover the mouth and nose with a mask is in effect in buildings in which medical activities are conducted and pharmacies. Persons who are currently under quarantine, isolation or home isolation on the date of publication of this Regulation are obliged to complete this quarantine, isolation or home isolation as previously decided. Concomitantly, the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 25 February 2022 on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic expires.

Persons who experience symptoms of infection should consult the doctor immediately and follow the recommendations issued by the doctor regarding the time of sick leave.

However, the WMU Crisis Management Team strongly recommends to follow preexisting recommendations, including the use of medical masks covering the mouth and nose in all WMU buildings and during classes.
