Procedure for dealing with an epidemiological risk of coronavirus for students, doctoral students and employees of all units

(Appearance of a person who came into contact with the so-called "direct contact person" and/or who has experienced symptoms associated with suspected coronavirus infection on the premises of the University)

Note: each exposure must be reported immediately to the following email address at the University: koronawirus@umed.wroc.pl.

Rules of conduct:

1. A person with suspected infection:

1. Contact the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station by phone; sanitary services will take further action

or

2. Report to the Emergency Department of the J. Gromkowski Specialized Voivodeship Hospital in Wrocław at ul. Koszarowa 5 in case of difficulties in getting through to the Sanitary and Epidemiological station; transport by own vehicle
3. Report the situation at the University to email address koronawirus@umed.wropl.
4. Inform persons you have been in contact with

2. A person who came into direct contact with a person with confirmed infection:

1. Contact the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station by phone and report the incident
2. Home quarantine for 14 days with a ban on leaving the house and contacting other people in person
3. If symptoms suggestive of Covid-19 occur within 14 days of exposure, inform the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station; sanitary services will take further action

or

4. Report to the Emergency Department of the J. Gromkowski Specialized Voivodeship Hospital at ul. Koszarowa 5, if you can provide your own transport
5. Report the situation at the University to email address koronawirus@umed.wroc.pl.
6. Inform persons you have been in contact with

3. A person who came into contact with a person who claims to have been in contact with a Covid-19 patient or a person suspected of being infected: contact 2 ----contact 1---a person infected or suspected of being infected:

1. Recommended self-monitoring measures: measure body temperature every day, check for fever, sore throat, dry cough;
2. Contact the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station by phone and report the incident
3. A contact 2 person may leave the place of residence, but should keep personal contacts with other people to a minimum.
