Postgraduate medical internship is no longer mandatory in Poland (last postgraduate internship for doctors will be organized as of 1 October 2017, whereas for dental practitioners – as of 1 October 2016; therefore, changes will apply to individuals who started medical studies as of 1 October 2012), according to last legal regulations the internship will be included in the program of the last year of studies.
