Medical students- wanted for a games

Dear English Division Medical Students,

We are launching the first emergency medicine simulation games in English but we need your help.

2019 Emergency Medicine Simulation Competition in English in Krakow

Jagiellonian University hosted its 5th annual simulation games for the medical students this spring. As guest participants we had a great experience and it was a phenomenal learning opportunity. As a result, we want to organize a similar event specifically for the English division medical programs in Europe.

The simulation games will be held in Krakow during the course of a weekend. You and your five person medical student team will be challenged in 6 scenarios covering a broad range of emergency situations. The scenarios will involve high-fidelity simulation manikins and be led by highly experienced clinicians. You will be awarded points for objective treatment and resuscitation (e.g. BLS and ACLS guidelines). Following each scenario, you will be debriefed on your performance. The competition setting and high level of realism will create an incredible learning experience. Official rules and regulation will be sent out to those schools interested in participating. The event would last one full day and will be followed by social activities in the historic and vibrant Krakow nightlife.

If this event is of interest to you please respond by filling out our survey and please share our email with the medical students in your program. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
