On December 7th, 2019, the Gastroenterology Student Club from Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department, Wroclaw Medical University, attended the 2nd international & 15th Nationwide Autumn Gastroenterology Conference and broke a new record with the highest amount of English Division participants ever! There were so many interesting presentations and posters about topics in nutrition and gastroenterology. Along with a surprise Endoscopy Quiz Contest by dr Radosław Kempiński and a Intoductory Lecture about transplantation by dr hab. Mirosław Banasik.
We would like to thank everyone involved in making the event such a success, including all the judges, doctors and students. Especially prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Poniewierka, the founder of this conference, and dr n.med. Katarzyna Neubauer, who spent countless hours working with English Division students to perfect each abstract and presentation and dr Dominika Ślósarz for organizing this wonderful event . Also a special thank you to our hardworking volunteers in English Division: president of the Club Angelika Zielinski, members of the Board: Katie Musial, Julia Swist, Vanessa Ermisch, Vlad Galindo, as well as Quentin Koudsi, Mohanad Alharbi and Waad Osman, that were working behind the scenes to help the conference run so smoothly!
